Adobe Flash is very powerful software capable of producing simple banner animations through to full blown interactive applications.

There are often many of ways of achieving the same goal in Flash. Any method I show you is just one of many - but along the way I will ensure you understand the essential elements required accelerate your own studies.

For some people Flash presents a steep learning curve. The reality is quite different when you know the difference between Movies, Buttons and Graphics . . .

Adobe Flash Pointers

1Avoid using flash as the only menu in a website as search engines can't follow the links.

2Do all of your image resizing & editing outside of Flash and change via the update facility.

3Flash Libraries which can grow very large. Create sub folders for buttons etc.

4Alias wisely on small text & select fonts that are designed to render at small sizes.
