The Dreamweaver myth - a quick tip!
Many people purchase Dreamweaver on it's own with the view that they will be able to design a website. It's not quite that simple! I describe Dreamweaver not as a web design tool, but a web-assembly tool. The graphics and layout structure of websites are usually designed in other programs such as Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Freehand etc. Dreamweaver is then used to assemble images, sound, video, text, scripts, forms and other content into a format for publishing on the internet.
Dreamweaver is the industry standard software for website assembly and maintenance. If you are going to make the investment of time and money in your web skills there is no better software, especially if you hope to work commercially, however it is not the only software you will need to create great sites.
Training rates are £160.00 (no VAT applicable) per session - each session is 4 HOURS.
