Sponsorship

Jelinet is proud to sponsor several web sites that support the community, or amateur sports in various ways.

English Karate Federation

English Karate FederationThe English Karate Federation is recognised by the World Karate Federation as the National Governing Body for sport Karate in England. I had the honour to provide a new site design which was published in December 2007 and continues to grow throughout 2008.

The site has seen phenomenal traffic in the first 3 months with typical monthly bandwidths of around 14Gb. It's world page-ranking has also risen from around 7.5 millionth to 1.6 millionth (up 900%) which is quite an achievement!

News is updated daily and provides an invaluable source of information for squad members alongside a rich collection of multimedia from international events which they have attended.

JeliNet us proud to be behind the leading website in English Karate. www.englishkaratefederation.com

British Wadokai Karate

British Wadokai KarateThe new British Wadokai web site lives at the previous home of Wadokai Southwest (www.wadokai.co.uk). The owner, Gary Swift, decided to separate out his local clubs from the lager Federation of Wado Kai clubs that his DKW was home too. In the process DKW was renamed British Wadokai with one eye the future and growing the organisation to become more nationally recognised. The Wadokai Southwest site has now moved to its own home on the net - www.wadokai-southwest.co.uk - see below.

British Wadokai Karate (BWK) was formed under the direction of Gary Swift 7th Dan Kyoshi . It is a friendly traditional Wado-Ryu Karate organisation providing a very high standard of support, guidance and benefits to clubs that choose to affiliate to us.

The BWK is affiliated to the English Karate Federation, (another JeliNet site) JKF-Wadokai England (under the technical direction of Sakagami Kuniaki 7th Dan Honbucho), the Federation of European Wadokai (FEW), and the Japanese Karate Federation (JKF-Wadokai).

It is with pride that JeliNet sponsors the BWK site at www.wadokai.co.uk

Wadokai Southwest Karate

Wadokia Southwest

Wadokai SouthwestJeliNet is delighted to launch the new website for Wadokai Southwest under the control of Gary Swift, 7th Dan. Wadokai Southwest is part of British Wadokai (formally DKW), which has foundations that were established in 1976.

I was asked to design and build a professional website with simple clean lines for Wadokai Southwest. Most Karate sites are striking with bold high-contrast colours. It struck me that Martial Arts are as much about Arts as the obvious physical fighting, so to this end I opted for a softer, more understated theme. It's quite a unique approach however, it is proving very popular.

I'm the first to confess my knowledge of Karate is limited however, half of my family are very involved with the sport. Two of my children train regularly, one of whom at the age of 11 already has a hat trick of British Championship titles. My wife is a former Black Belt who has re-entered the sport after a break of several years and is working up through the grade syllabus again.

It has been an honour to have the opportunity to design and build www.wadokai-southwest.co.uk.

1254 Squadron (Godalming) Air Training Cadets

I'm pleased to announce the publication of the first web site for 1254 (Godalming) Squadron ATC. The ATC is a charitable organisation that provides fantastic opportunities for adventure & flying for young men and women from 13 to 18 years of age.

Web design may not be the most exciting skill in the world, however occasionally I get to use my computer to make a really rewarding difference to some people. In this case the hope is that the new web site for 1254 Squadron will raise their profile in the local community, encourage new members to join and help raise sponsorship for, amongst other things, a new minibus.

1254 Godalming Squadron ATCThe ATC is an often overlooked charitable organisation that offers young men and women amazing opportunities for flying, shooting, adventure and self development for virtually no cost to its members. It can have a very positive affect on shaping the characters and the future of it's Cadets.

Most of the funding is provided through the MOD, however essential items such as a minibus are the responsibility of individual squadrons to finance. As a member of the Civilian Committee I have a vested interest in raising money to support the Squadron!

Please take a moment to visit our new site - and if you, or anyone you know, is interested in what we do or in helping us please contact us.
